Fiscal Year End Lead Times

With fiscal year-end fast approaching, the Software and Shared Systems Procurement Directorate will be focusing on completing year-end requirements in a timely manner. Fiscal year-end is always a busy period but this year, the updated Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) terms and conditions are creating additional delays in negotiating contracts. Additional factors may also affect how long it will take to complete a requirement. Software and Shared Systems Procurement Directorate (SSSPD)'s priority will be to complete urgent, operational requirements. Therefore, PWGSC Clients are requested to submit fiscal year-end requirements to PWGSC as soon as possible using the following table as a general guide.

The following cut-off dates are applicable for sole source requirements to be contracted prior to fiscal year-end only. Completed 9200 Requisitions, sole source justification and certifications, including all other applicable information, must be received prior to the dates indicated below to ensure SSSPD has the necessary lead time to process requirements appropriately.
